The incentive and challenge in my work is the diverse and wide-ranging field of activity and the co-decision-making in the implementation of a wide variety of projects. For the future, I hope to continue to be involved in the success and expansion of the company."

  • Katja Roder

    Accounting / Human Resources

"I have been working at WEKAL for about 15 years and have taken on a wide variety of tasks during this time. In the meantime, I have a responsible job in the HR department, where I am always faced with new challenges. It is precisely this variety and independent work that are important to me. Working in a great team and the opportunities for further development that you get at WEKAL round off the whole thing. Every day is interesting and I always enjoy going back to work. I look forward to working for WEKAL for many years to come."

  • Tanja Gleissner

    Commercial assistant

"I have been working in the commercial area at WEKAL since 2002. Before my parental leave, I was employed for many years as a commercial assistant to the management. I always have the feeling of being a valued employee. Therefore, I can proudly say that I have found ‘the right place for me'."

  • Jonas Kühn

    Industrial mechanic

"I started my apprenticeship at WEKAL in 2016 and successfully completed it in summer 2019. Since then I have been working as an industrial mechanic in the assembly production department. My tasks are many and varied. They also include European and worldwide assembly assignments, where technical competence and good communication are a prerequisite. The internal departmental cohesion in solving more complex problems is outstanding. For the future, I would like to continue to have the confidence of my superiors in my abilities and a secure job."

  • Dawid Grzybowski

    Robotics programmer

"I started my 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering at WEKAL in 2006 and completed it successfully. Then I worked for a few years as a skilled worker in the electrical assembly department. When the robotics department was expanded, I applied – despite having no programming knowledge in this area. I was well supported by WEKAL along the way, received some important training and thanks to my work colleagues, I quickly learned the ropes. The state-of-the-art technology and good equipment make the work much easier. Newly developed machines keep things exciting and very varied. I really enjoy working at WEKAL and with my colleagues, and I look forward to interesting and exciting times to come."

  • Patrick Pursche

    Laser operator / bender

"I have been working in the laser and bending department at WEKAL in St. Egidien since 2016. The company has offered me a secure future from the very beginning and shows me again and again that I am in demand as a person. Here I don't stand at an assembly line and work off the orders like a machine, but have the opportunity to contribute my own ideas and suggestions and thus optimise the production process. Due to the modern machines, latest technologies and varied tasks, the work at WEKAL is interesting and versatile. Flexible deployment is welcome and also desired. This gives me the opportunity to participate in other production steps beyond my own department – even up to the assembly of the final product at the customer's site.
